Lego Club at Brentwood Library

As we walking to our house after my son school is over, one of his friend Bryan wave to him a piece of newspaper. I was puzzle since why he would pass a piece of paper with big smile and said you should read this. Turn out when I finally have a chance to read it a home, The newspaper actually have my son on it. The article is about LEGO club that he always attend. The activities is free at Brentwood Library, and being arrange by one of moms. This lego club is so popular that we have to registered to attend.

here is the pictures of my son in South Side Hills Local Newspaper

The Lego program is a weekly programs, they have Lego Club and Lego Light (due to lots of children wants to attend). It's on Tuesday and Thursday. The program usually for lasted for 2 hours. They start first on discussion about the theme of the day, usually they put lots of book and after that let the children build they're own imagination. Here is some of the pictures that my son make on the Lego program.

I always find that local library is an interesting place to go. I encourage my son to love the library, specially here in US, they have abundant of books, magazine and film, that you can borrowed for free. In Indonesia this kind of library is rare or even non existent. Do you love to go to the library? Do you have local library that you love? I love to know.

As usual my hubby always surprised me, sneak the birthday cake, pretend not to say 'happy birthday' to me when the clock at 12 am in the morning. When i wake up, surprised me with birthday cake that he hid so well somewhere in my house. but anyway i still love it. Here is my son who is eager to cut and eat the cake, but he have to wait until he come back from school.

He loves the cake, eating every last bit, with a little bit of help from his mom. The cake have 3 layer and have strawberry jelly that is so yummy. I was surprised because it's a store bought at Giant Eagle

Reese's Spread VoxBox review

If you see all my blogpost you can tell i love Influenster, i love to be part of the community and love received products for free and also review it on social media. This time around i love and madly in live with this mission.

I love chocolate so when the email send to me by Influenster telling me I'll be getting this #ReesesSpreads VoxBox...I was so excited.  I am actually stalking my mailman for few days...lol. And when it came, I got so excited and tell my son about it. Well, that's is quite wrong move, since my son just want to try it, I don't have time to film the Unboxing. So I have to modify my Unboxing video when I want to upload it on Youtube. You can see my Unboxing video here.

As for the Reeses Spread? What my opinion about it? This is my honest opinion I LOVE Reeses Spread! My whole family love it so much, we actually bought back up for it, since it run out the second week we received. The texture of this products it's so creamy, chocolaty and a little hint of peanut butter. For comparison to Nutella this Reese's Spread for me is not so chocolaty like i want too, it is more sweeter than Nutella. You can pair the Reese's Spread with apple, banana, crackers, pretzel. I actually put the spread inside store bought crescent dough, and make almost like chocolate crescent. You put as a filling for your home made crepes. There's so many pairing with this spread. This Reese's Spread is to die for! But fair warning to those of you want to watch calories intake...this spread is contain quite few more calories. Right now you can find the Reese's Spread almost anywhere in groceries store such as Walmart, Target and Giant Eagle.

Disclaimer: this product sent to me by Influenster, but my opinion is my own

World Hijab Day

The World Hijab Day is on every February 1st. This event took place too every where around the world. This movement that start around 2013 is based on Nazma Khan experience, and want to shine the light on hijab, the headscraf is the symbol of Moslem women.

This is part of Nazma Khan email for World Hijab Day, which i found on CNN :

Nazma Khan started World Hijab Day to build empathy for this perspective and to encourage non-Muslim, and Muslims who don't normally wear a hijab, to try it out. The Arabic word hijab refers not just to a headscarf but to modest dress and behavior in general

you can find this CNN news on this CNN World Hijab Day

As for me, this is my second time around to participate, the first time around, i was quite sick and donate money to support the cause. The second time around, i did wear Hijab for a day, even though i am Muslim, i don't wear hijab on daily basis. Insya Allah, one day i can hijab and join all my sisters. I hope if you find this, please join, i encourage you, since wearing hijab is also a struggle, personal in the inside and also from outside world. I am envy to you all the sisters is already wear Hijab, because from my humble opinion they are brave and modest.
